A typical week for me generally consists of going to Uni full time, cramming for some sort of exam, writing a paper and completing an assignment. Many late nights are spent in the computer lab at school fighting with Excel until the lights go out and the security guard politely asks me to leave. On top of taking a full course load, I work as a Junior Accountant downtown at an engineering firm. When I do a get a free hour to myself, all I feel like doing is curling up in one of Rich’s comfiest sweaters (as seen in this post!) and crawling under the covers. All of this doesn’t leave me a lot of time to go up island to visit my family. I’m sure I’m not alone in feeling this way. So, the ‘Governmental Gods’ have answered my prayers and deemed today Family Day, an official holiday in British Columbia! No work, no school, just a day to go and hang out with the family. Love it! On the way up island Rich and I couldn’t help but to pull over and test out the new Nikon in these eerie fields. I think we did alright with our first test-drive of the camera! What do you think?
